New Independent Conservative Newspaper at
BSU!
The Guardian published its first issue in
April 2007, distributing over 500
copies of a six page inaugural issue around campus. Check
out the Guardian online edition at
www.bsuguardian.com.
The Guardian is the independent voice of conservative students at Boise State University,
sponsored by the Conservative Student Coalition.
It is a medium for reasoned exchange in an environment bereft of intellectual diversity, tolerance and ideological balance.
Its staff works to expand the educational experience of
Boise State students by articulating viewpoints widely
neglected in the classrooms of Boise State. |

America's Illegal Alien
Invasion!
On March 22nd, 2007, US Senate Candidate Robert Vasquez spoke at BSU. The event was a great success, with the Hatch Ballroom
filled to standing-room only capacity. Though his address and our
advertising campaign caused a lot of controversy at BSU,
we successfully brought a conservative viewpoint on illegal
immigration to hundreds of students and community members.
This website registered over 6,000 hits in the two weeks
prior to the event, and we made the local news five nights
straight.
